Large ash tree overhanging the garden of No. 52 Newnham Green, 11th June

This large ash tree overhanging the garden of No. 52 Newnham Green has been reported three times now. The last time was in April 2026 when I was told the tree would be pollarded within 70 days but nothing has been done. The resident is very distressed about it and has asked me for an update.

Weed Killer never sprayed on pavements or gutters in Benson, 11th June

I have written to both BIffa South & Vale and parks@southandvale. Both departments tell me that they are not responsible for spraying weed killer around Benson on all pavements and Gutters. They inform me this is a County Council issue. Can you tell me who does this, how often and when they are next due to do all of Bensons footpaths and Gutters please.

Pot hole that’s getting bigger, 10th June

The pot holes have been at the end of the road a while now, and have been reported multiple times. Someone came out and painted a white square around them and nothing else came about it. The holes are getting bigger and is going to cause a serious accident if not sorted. And some point it’s going to be impossible to get in to the road. PLEASE FIX

There are now (as of 09/06/26) illegal 'wildlife capture-type' cameras fixed on street furniture on this roundabout and I believe on others in the local area. Many people are extremely upset about this as they are unauthorised. This isn't official surveillance for traffic reasons, etc. While I'm here, I may as well log all the illegally attached flags on lampposts on this roundabout. I'm sure these two things couldn't be linked though.
