The 2 road gullies at the speed bump directly outside my house are blocked again. There is severe ponding at the speed bump as the stormwater cannot drain away. I have this morning cleaned out one of the two gullies, which was full of sludge. The duct across the road is blocked and needs jetting. The ponding last night was so bad that my house was getting drenched every time a vehicle passed. This is a recurring complain. There is no street cleaning evident in Forest Hill let alone gully cleaning. Please cut a channel at either end of the speed bump (say 150mm) to allow stormwater to pass downwards towars the Main Street/Stanton St John road junction. Alternatively, start gully cleaning on a monthly basis during the Autumn and Winter. Images attached of my gully cleaning. Please confirm the reduction in Council Tax by virtue of non-existent road cleaning by the local authority.cleaning

Stream Feature on Mill Street dried up by Thames water works in road. The contractors have cut their trench through the spring-line and the stream has disappeared into their trenches. They plan to tarmac it back over tomorrow and have not restored the stream. This is a vital feature of the village and feeds wildlife and is a feature in many gardens down stream. The second issue is that the fill put in by the contractor SMB is permeable and will wash away down the line of the trench for the new water main. this will lead to road collapse eventually. Please get on to them as soon as you can to get them to plug the trench and restore the steam. This is an imperative that the Stream is restored. Thank you, Andrew T. The water baoard dug the road up.The leak is 150 fert from where they dug. They said they ran a camara down pipe to 70 feet in eithe rdirection. They have therefore not solved problem. Pictures attached of where they dig and where leak is. Please can this be sorted before the road becomoes damaged by bad weather. Thanks
