Groove like hole associated with corner of metal Man hole cover. Very hazardous for bike riders (on National cycle Route 5). My teenage son rode over the manhole cover and his tyre slipped on the metal into a grooved hole which threw his wheel, throwing him off his bike onto the road. Very dangerous and fortunate there were no cars close by that could have added to his injuries.
