No visible Public Right of Way signage

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The is no visible signage indicating that a public bridleway joins the road known as the Causeway (A44) through this boarded gateway. The statutory retirement is that the Highways Authority (Oxfordshire County Council) provide clear indicator of the route and nature of the Public Right of Way. This route is a bridleway but no signage of any sort was visible at its junction with the A44.

A sign needs to be erected without delay.

  • The route is signed. Google StreetView shows the bridleway signpost has been in situ since at least 2008. Our records suggest it's been there even long than that.
