LED radar speed sign on Oxford Road, Abingdon, displays incorrect speed limit

The LED radar speed sign on Oxford Road, Abingdon, just before the left turn in to Norman Avenue, incorrectly reports the speed limit in that location as 20mph, instead of 30mph.

The 20mph limit does not start until just after the turn to Norman Avenue. Incorrectly showing this limit on the radar sign creates confusion for drivers, and could be dangerous for road users, as drivers are left unsure about the correct speed, and may worry and/or begin to slow down unnecessarily.

The speed radar sign should be reconfigured to correctly display the speed limit in the area as 30mph. Alternatively, it could be moved to a location that actually is 20mph.
