The drop curb which connects the road to cycle lane is not flat. Please flatten the connection between road and cycle lane to enable safe transition from road to cycle lane. I nearly came off my bike transitioning from Botley Road to the Cycle lane here a week ago. I appreciate this bike lane is fairly new but it hopefully it will be easy to push down the concrete curbs and make it flat and safe for cyclists. Or even remove the concrete curb entirely and have completely flat tarmac to connect the road and cycle lane.

  • Sorry - a quick update, I just did some more research and it seems the drop curb connecting road to cycle lane should be 3-6mm high MAXIMUM. This is certainly not. Please make this safe.
