The elm tree on the public footpath that runs by the side of our house and garden has become too large and is too close to the wall. It is going to grow into the wall and damage it.

We are having to have our wall replaced as it is leaning and broken. The tree if it is left will grow into our wall and could make the wall unsafe. It is also likely to interfere with the public footpath too. The public footpath runs beside our house 10 Colegrave Road. The tree is not within our boundary so we understand it is the council’s responsibility.
