Dangerous Tree overhanging the A44 leaving Woodstock

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Please have Tree Surgeon inspect the Willow Tree on Left Hand side of road leaving Woodstock. A large limb on left of tree has sheared off, leaving right limb hanging precariously over the road. I heard a large crash when limb geared off. Difficult to see from road, but can be seen from top of Parsons Drive, Park View, Woodstock

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited the location and assessed the trees. The trees are the responsibility of the adjacent landowner and not Oxfordshire County Council. I will send a letter to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to remove any hazard to the highway.
