Potholes and degraded road surface
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
So after months/years of numerous reports on this stretch of road from the mini-roundabout north, round the sharp right-hand bend up towards Stow, temporary roadworks were set up 2 days ago and a couple of small potholes were filled (admittedly properly with seals) on the southside of this road, but leaving several more on the south and north sides of this road so again barely touching the surface of what is really needed for this stretch of road. It remains extremely dangerous as cars have to cross over the double white lines to try and avoid damaging their cars, but at the same time risking accidents. How does it make any sense to keep coming and doing a couple of pot holes rather than doing the whole stretch of road properly especially as more minor roads in the area have had full resurfacing and do not get anywhere near the same amount of traffic as this one?!

Yet again you have come and repaired a few of the potholes on the northbound carriageway going up the hill, but left a large one just a couple of metres up the hill and completely failed to repair any of the eroded road surface further up the hill and have made no repairs on the southbound carriageway going down the hill which in many ways is a more dangerous problem given the faster speed of traffic coming down the hill. Please can some common sense and judicious use of public money be applied when planning these road repairs- it beggars belief.

You should be well aware that there is no possible way to safely take photos of this stretch of road as steep banks on both sides and no pathway
