Cycle path in this area is in terrible condition

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
While the Botley Road/Station works have been going on, I've always assumed that the Council will use the road closure to repair and upgrade the cycle path in this area (esp. West-bound). The surface is very poor, the markings to show where the cycle lane is (green painted, and white lines for a border) have degraded, and further along, near Earl St, the separate cycle path is unusable. It's better after Lamarsh Road but still needs repainting and restoring. I'm getting worried that this opportunity to fix the cycle path before Botley Road re-opens is going to be lost. It desperately needs restoring and I don't understand why it hasn't been done before the road gets really busy again.

The cycle path is uneven because of damage to the tarmac and multiple patches. It's unclear, because the green paint to demarcate it has worn away and the white markings have also rubbed off; and because it's narrow or invisible, cars come into conflict with bikes along there.
