Large broken bough in imminent danger of falling on public footpath
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Large high bough of mature ash tree has broken off and is hanging suspended within the tree. There is imminent danger of this falling across popular public footpath, Road, parked cars and property with potential danger to life. The bough was heard to break Thursday evening 9th July 2026

The affected bough and branches have now been removed by professional arboriculturalists. It is not clear who ordered this work but it has been done well.
Long term there is still a risk of dropping branches from this large mature Ash so further action may be appropriate
