Numerous potholes in braking zone of pedestrian crossing

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Approaching the pedestrian crossing, within the braking zone the road is failing with numerous potholes. Cars skid and slide under braking to avoid and try and stop. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THIS CROSSING IS USED BY SCHOOL CHILDREN WITH THE SCHOOL BUS PICKING UP AT THE JUNCTION. A child is going to get killed or seroiusly injured unless this section of road is properly repaired, as opposed to failing patch reparis.

  • Numerous potholes over a stretch of 30m by Somerton Road turn, not deep but having the impact of Northbound traffic veering into oncoming traffic.
