Bike markings on crossing have almost gone

I tried to cycle across from the West to the East side of Cowley Road here on this bicycle and pedestrian crossing. I was nearly hit by someone driving a van who then proceeded to shout and swear at me saying I shouldn't be cycling on the crossing.

Looking at it, the bike markings have almost completely worn away so I can forgive his confusion although not his aggressive profanity.

Can these markings be re painted as a matter of urgency please before there is a serious injury or worse collision.
