Cycle lane and pavement markings are incorrect

Reported via Android in the Road Markings category anonymously at 16:06, Sunday 5 July 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

You've just resurfaced this section outside St Edwards beautifully, but the cycle lane and pavement have been left with markings which prioritise vehicles going in/out of this private entrance.

This doesn't accord with part 206 Highway Code, which says that motorists "should drive slowly and carefully when....needing to cross a pavement, cycle lane or cycle track; for example, to reach or leave a driveway or private access. Give way to pedestrians on the pavement and cyclists using a cycle lane or cycle track."

This cycle track and pavement are already dire in terms of condition - shame a small brand new section creates another potential interruption and doesn't seem to accord with the Highway Code. Any chance of changing these markings? Thanks 🙂
