Drain in this notorious spot blocked again with overgrown grass,

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This drain was cleared of overgrown grass and weeds last year.When it rains it very quickly causes severe flooding in the dip. Needs grass,weeds to be dug out again so to assist drain to do its job soonest.Even though it is summer,with heavy downfalls it floods automatically and causes huge problems and danger for vehicles that usually can only use one lane to pass.If is also a fast track section of road which makes it all the more dangerous when flooded for drivers. Requires dig out soonest.

    No wonder this habitual drain causes flooding! Totally overgrown with weeds,grass as per these two photos,taken Monday July 13th. Urgently requires spade dig out to allow water to drain away. If not,will continue to flood year in,year out,even with modest rainfall.

  • I received an auto update to say the investigation is complete. Wrong,nothing has been done,the drain is still blocked with overgrown grass & vegetation. Still requires clearance so that drain can work properly.

    Here,yet again,is the overgrown drain gulley that remains blocked and causes bad flooding across whole of road. Like previously,it the grass & weeds need to be dug out.
