Large deep pot hole

This pot hole has caused my ten year old daughter to have a accident on her bike today where she could have been seriously injured. She is pretty battered and bruised from the accident. Wallingford promotes the use of bikes instead of driving but how can I allow my child to ride a bike to school when out roads are so unfit
