Road and Footway again flooded last week

Road and Footway again flooded last week. The drain, blocked by raised crossing work, has been reported and "investigated" *MANY* times, in February it was "actioned to be fixed" report/8454757, we have had drainage work in this area recently, should it have been fixed then? Was it missed off the list? report/6205453 was investigated and scheduled for gully emptying and thoroughly cleansing, but that did not remove the blocking tarmac. Was the solution to report/4788254 not identified? Also, was the solution to report/6635688, also tarmac blockage ever identified? Can this be fixed at the same time?

  • Thank you for your report. Following a recent site inspection we have arranged for the repairs to the surrounding weir type cover and adjustment to the existing carriageway levels which should then allow surface water to run into the pit
