Road surface B471 Whitchurch Hill

Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 14:36, Saturday 27 June 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 6 minutes later

Having received possibly the fifth cloud of dust and grit on this stretch of road since last summer, there is still no improvement to the road surface and I suggest that the grit continues to pose a threat to cyclists until it gets washed away by rain, as with the previous layers. I saw an injured male sat in the middle of the road being attended to by ambulance along this stretch of road yesterday afternoon. Having looked this up, I see there was a serious incident with a motorcyclist coming off his bike. I wonder whether the road surface may have been a factor in causing the rider to come off his bike? Please stop wasting tax payer money on rogue traders who have no idea about safely and competently restoring a road surface.
