Vegetation reducing width of cycle path.

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation & maintenance category by Andrew Stewart at 09:27, Friday 26 June 2026

HI Team,

The vegetation has been growing and is reducing the width of the cycle path. This cycle path is next to a fast road (albeit 30 and 40) with cars appearing to travel in excess of this speed. This makes cycling along this path hazardous when the path narrows due to vegetation. This is especially challenging when cycling with a young child. The cycle path from Burcot Park to Culham Science Park is the same.

Could you let me know what improvements are likely to this cycle path along side the major new road works, as i fear the traffic will increase along this road making cycling ( the most environmentally and wellbeing friendly mode of transport) less appealing due to the risks.
