Due to the heat, the road surface is very slippery

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Top surface of the road has virtually disappeared leaving a black slippery surface, very dangerous when braking. This whole stretch of the A418 seems to be affected in sections and it wasn't resurfaced that long ago.

    This was last week but it definitely looks worse today. There are skid marks in a few places up and down the bypass and other areas like this where there is no road grip. I feel like it's an accident waiting to happen.
