Traffic speeds through Burot in excess of 30mph

HI Team, The traffic speed through Burot is fast. I ride with my 5 year old son along the path to go to school and explore the community and the speed of cars, vans, lorries is obviously a lot faster than 30mph. this makes crossing the road from Burcot park to the foot path and along the foot path scary. One of the the reasons could be all the road signs are not visible with traffic travelling along a road where they do not think families will be living or using the foot path. if the road signs were cleaned and vegetation removed to make them visible to traffic - maybe traffic would travel along the road at a speed appropriate to families using the foot path. Also, I would like to see about adding to the signs with community focused signs for speed and wondered how to go about this.
