Verge encroachment reducing carriageway width

The verge on Woodstock Road East, Begbroke, has progressively encroached onto the carriageway, significantly reducing the usable road width. At this location, two vehicles can no longer pass safely. One vehicle generally has to stop to allow the other to pass. Drivers frequently mount the footway to avoid oncoming traffic, creating an unnecessary risk to pedestrians.
