Street light on the side of number 5 London Road turns off intermittently, the lens cover is missing, the top cover misaligned and the electrical equipment box is missing it's cover.

As per summary the light switches off intermittently at night. Please see picture I have submitted taken just as the light switched off again.

  • Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system. For efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programme of works based on this approach.

  • This light still isn’t fixed 1 year in from being reported. It still switches off and on intermittently and is misaligned.

  • Thank you for your report, our contractor has attended site and found this to be a component that requires to be ordered. As soon as this arrives into stock we will be able to attend and repair
