These pics are of a pavement outside of 39 Scott Road. I have previously complained that due to the overhanging hedge that you can’t walk safely past if you were to have a child or dog with you. You replied and said you would ask the tenant to turn the hedge, this had been done but not sufficiently enough, the pavement on the corner of the road is still inaccessible. The hedge needs major cutting back. Just have a look at the pavement itself. Last year a pavement refresh programmme was carried out - proof this hangers over is that they couldn’t carry out works on this stretch I urge you to sort this out, it is close to a junction and I fear at worst a car will turn in and you will Have a fatality on your hands as people are forced to walk in the road

Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety. In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
