Electric bikes stop blocking the path and exit
Reported via mobile in the Other category anonymously at 11:15, Thursday 11 June 2026
Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The electric bike stop on First Turn, in front of 385 Woodstock Road seriously affects the road safety. 1. It blocks the entrance which shared by 385 and 387 Woodstock Road. 2. First Turn is very busy road as there is primary school and all the residents living in Wolvercote driving or cycling through this junction. However the bike stop totally blocks the pavement that children need to walk on the driving lane which is very dangerous. Wheelchair definitely can’t pass. 3. There is always noise issue in late night, group of teenagers stopped by the bikes chatting and shouting in the night. 4. The bike collection van coming almost every day and parked on the pavement to collect the electric bikes which brings more load to the road and also blocks the 385/387 Woodstock Road exit.
