Location: Giant hogweed spotted at coordinates 51.78970° N, –1.17060° W (east Oxford / Cowley area).

Description: There is a large giant hogweed plant growing at this location. The plant is identifiable by its height, thick hollow stem with purple blotches, and large umbrella‑shaped flower head.

Risk: Giant hogweed sap causes severe skin burns and poses a danger to the public, especially children, dog walkers, and anyone passing close by.

Action requested: Please arrange inspection and removal as soon as possible.
