15cm deep pothole collapsing into a drain
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The wall of the drain has started to collapse into itself creating a 15cm deep pothole. The length of the hole is about 30cms. The danger is that the drain cover gets run over by a heavy vehicle, falls into the drain leaving a much bigger hole that is a metre deep. That will wreck a wheel or cause an accident. Pedestrians may also fall in.

It is now 3rd August and this problem has still not been fixed. In a scene that would be quite funny were it not symptomatic of how useless this country has become, a lorry with suitably viz clad guys rolled up after which they put a roadworks sign up, walked around a bit, had a chat, put the sign on the lorry and drove away. Brilliant.

Three months from reporting it this pothole has still not been addressed. Horses frequently pass along this road and if one accidentally puts its foot in this pothole it could cause injury or death to horse and/or rider. This is quite apart from potential damage caused to any vehicle. Thso pothole is highly dangerous and SODC will be liable for any accident caused by it. Please respond by return with an action plan.
