Good evening. A tree looks about to fall. It will block mill lane an almost certainly take down our drystone wall. We have conducted a property search and it appears the tree is on highways land.

  • Thank you for your meeting me on site. I can confirm that the tree is in the care of Oxfordshire County Council. I have inspected the tree, it is currently stable but given its position I have specified pollarding the tree at 3m. this should prevent it becoming a future hazard as it will become part of the cyclical hedgerow maintenance. I expect the works to be undertaken by one of our contractors within the next couple of months. We appreciate your vigilance and encourage you to report any future highway concerns.
