Overgrown Hedge with with dangerous brambles

Reported via mobile in the Hedges category anonymously at 08:56, Wednesday 3 June 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Hello I am reporting an overgrown hedgerow along the back of John Hampden School and Chowns Close Thame. The path is used by all school traffic walking to and from school. The path is barely visible now and the brambles protruding from the hedge are so dangerous especially to young eyes and faces. Most if not all young birds have now fledged so there is no reason why this hedge can not be cut back. It might be a good idea to put this hedge in your regular maintenance schedule as it’s always frowning into the pathway and reducing the width of the path which is used by 100’s of people each day. Thank you in advance.
