Hole in road surface and surface subsidence

There is a small hole in the road surface but when it is raining all the water from the gully is draining down this hole rather than reaching the drain. The surface is also subsiding slightly suggesting a larger hole has developed under the road surface. The hole is in the gully behind the brown back door to 71 George Street, and facing the vehicle entrance doors to Nuffield college.
