Very dangerous extremely low visibility

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is little to no visibility both ways when exiting the junction onto the road, you have to get your car half way into the road before you can see whats coming. A serious accident will happen is not resolved asap.

  • It is impossible to see traffic approaching from both Burford and Stow. It is only a matter of time before there is a fatality at this junction. This is now critical and the grass needs cutting immediately. Same situation year on year.

  • Thank you for your report and bringing this to our attention. This report has been closed, However, our programmed schedule for rural grass cutting has now started and all locations under Oxfordshire County Council maintenance will be attended to in the following weeks. If this location falls within Town or village limits, these works may be undertaken by your local District, Town or Parish Council. To add, all junctions/vision splays cuts have now been completed, meaning if they have become overgrown again (after the start of July) Can these please be reported via a new FMS so we can re-assess the area and make safe as needed.
