Verges
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 18:00, Wednesday 27 May 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The verges on both sides of the road are very long, which causes a problem with deer and muntjac's running out when driving along and not noticing them until very late. This is waiting for an accident to happen. This is not the only road where this happens!!
Drove to Shipston on Stour today and as soon as we left Oxfordshire for Warwickshire the verges are kept short. So easy to see wildlife entering the road!

To add, all junctions/vision splays cuts have now been completed, meaning if they have become overgrown again (after the start of July) Can these please be reported via a new FixMyStreet report so we can re-assess the area and make safe as needed.
