Lamppost illuminates our back garden and bedroom

Can we please get this streetlamp switched off at midnight or get it moved. This streetlamp shines directly into our back garden and into my bedroom window all night. I don't even understand the placement of this lamppost. Should it not be further down the ally as you walk onto the A40 where it is pitch black now?? I have trouble sleeping in the summer time because it's too hot to keep my curtains and window closed. But when I open them, this light illuminates my whole room and I end up sleeping on our sofa to get away from it. Also, when the sun goes down, I can't even sit and look up at the stars because we can't see them for this street lamp! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we get something done about it. Please.
Additionally, the lamp post in question is no.3 but it registers as no.5 on Fixmystreet, but it is 100% no.3 and not no.5! The fix my street ref no. is 9494610. My address is 29 Hanborough Close, Eynsham, OX29 4NR. The lamp is the one standing right over our back garden.

Thank you for the report. This does seem to be a copy of the report received earlier this week. We are not able to turn off streetlights individually. They are also installed for the benefit of all road users. We are investigating options to try and help with the situation.
