Street light located on public footpath not working. This area has lots of mature evergreen trees which makes it very dark and dangerous to all using the footpath.

Thank you for your report, we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Currently the temporary policy is for our interim contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority, these will be attended within a 24hr period. However, when and if additional resources plus materials are available the contractor has started to carry out repairs to the older outstanding faults these will be grouped by areas for efficiency.

This footpath is very poorly lit in this area with the failed lighting. Potentially a security risk for those walking through and should be marked as a priority.

Thank you for your update, as this unit is on a footpath it requires specialist equipment to access the lantern as this is not accessible via the normal vehicle. These jobs are currently waiting for the specialist equipment to arrive for the work to be completed.
