Street light has failed

Street light number 1 at the back of the Castle Quay Centre and adjacent to the Cornhill Centre has failed, making this very dark path dangerous. It is known for instances of anti social behavour.

Thank you for your report, this is logged as a fault on our management system. Currently the temporary policy is for our interim contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority, these will be attended within a 24hr period. However, when and if additional resources plus materials are available the contractor has started to carry out repairs to the older outstanding faults these will be grouped by areas for efficiency.
Individual parts will also need to be ordered on a number of faults as these are not standard items, unfortunately this will increase the time it takes that these units are not operational. We are currently in the process of negotiating with our interim contractor to provide additional resources to look at all faults to reduce the outstanding levels, however these will not have target timescales for repairs but we anticipate that they will be fixed as soon as possible
