Cluster of very deep and large potholes

Very dangerous cluster of large and deep potholes which caused me to get a flat tyre despite driving only 20mph over that patch of road. Dangerous and not obvious to see as it's on a bend and covered by shade from the trees. Atrocious conditions , please fix to prevent more damage to other road users!

Also I would like to point out (as you can see from the image) there is no paint or markings around the potholes to help warn you of the potholes. This happened yesterday April 25th 2026 and I was driving 20mph due to the fact there were horse trials on and lots of pedestrians and horses around as it's near a gate/crossing area. You can imagine how much worse this could be if driving full speed limit.

This still hasn't been sorted, and the holes are getting worse. You have to swerve, or drive in the middle of the road them. PLEAE FIX ASAP.

This hole damaged a wheel on my car on 28 May. I took it to the garage the next day and they said it needs to be replaced. The next day I went to see why I didn’t see the hole and it is as the previous complainant said, almost invisible because of the shade of the trees. I expect the council’s solution to this will be to cut the trees down and not fix the holes. The roads all round here are all full of dangerous holes. I am trying to work out why they’re not being fixed. Is it that we’re not paying enough Road Tax, Fuel Duty, VAT, Council Tax, Income Tax and National Insurance contributions? If they can’t do it, then they should say so and invite the local residents to do it as they would be more skilled and conscientious.

The pothole featured below damaged the front wheel of my car which caused an instant flat tyre. As you can see the pothole is very deep. I had to wait for breakdown cover to place a hire tyre on my wheel so that I could drive it to a garage to get a new wheel. There were no markings around the pothole and drove past several other potholes along this road with no markings. I would like to claim the cost of the new tyre i paid for. I work out in the community so it is extremely important that these potholes are fixed to prevent this happening again.

There are now several very large potholes all over the road now making it impossible to avoid them. Months on from being first reported, there is still no sign of action whatsoever. Please fix these ASAP.

Why on earth have these truly dangerous potholes, still not been repaired?! First reported back in April!!!! So many other potholes in the area have been fixed, yet these have not! I've seen so many people get punctures from them...only the other day, a rescue unit was on site preparing another victims tyre. As I reported before, you cannot drive past these without going into the middle of the road to pass them, which is extremely dangerous due to the bend. For people unfamiliar with this piece of road, the holes are hidden due to them being under trees, and in the shade. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, fix all these holes ASAP!!! Before more people claim money from you for damaged vehicles!!
