Loud banging due to lose manhole cover

The manhole cover appears to be loose or not properly seated. When heavier vehicles such as vans, buses, or lorries drive over it, it produces a loud banging or rattling noise. This happens frequently and causes a significant noise disturbance that wakes people in nearby homes. The cover likely needs inspection and securing or repair.
This is starting to affect everyone in our households sleep, including young children as we are being woken at 4/5am and then it is consistent banging for hours.
