Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Some trees and branches have fallen and others appear over burdened with ivy etc. they are close to the road and in a very precarious position. The condition can only deteriate

  • Thank you for your enquiry. The trees are on land not deemed to be part of the highway maintainable at public expense and therefore, Oxfordshire County Council do not have responsibility for the trees as local highway authority. The trees on the highway and land adjacent to the highway are subject to a regular survey, these trees will be subject to survey in the coming weeks. Where deemed necessary a letter will be sent to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to remove any hazard to the highway.
