Dropped curb too high

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 20:20, Sunday 8 March 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The dropped curbs at the junction between Cowley road and Cumberland Road are not suitable for wheelchair users. I am a wheelchair user who lives on Cumberland Road, this poor pavement and curb means that I have to use the road instead of the pavement putting myself and drivers at significant risk. The pavement at the turning is on a significant camber due to a recently built cement ramp into the corner house. This means it can not be traversed by a wheelchair user safely. This impacts my daily commute and I would really appreciate if this curb was changed during the works planned this April.
