Works to frontage of house/highway verge

We would like to carry out some minor groundworks to the frontage of our property where we park our car, which we understand borders and falls partly within the highway boundary. The proposed works comprise returfing of churned up/damaged grass and replacement of existing track matting with self-binding Cotswold stone. Our property is Pond Cottage, Sibford Gower, Oxfordshire OX15 5RT. Please can you kindly let us know if these works would be acceptable to the local highway authority or if you need any further details from us.
