Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This road is closed, due to roadworks! No warning - a warning notice would have been useful by Sainsburys at Heyford Hill. Had to detour back up to Heyford Hill, through to Green Rd. Roundabout, down to N. Oxford & onwards to Botley. A complete waste of time & fuel!

  • If there's anything we've learned about the Lib Dems in charge of Oxfordshire County Council is that they are very happy to make life as uncomfortable and unpleasant as possible for motorists. They truly hate the car. Journey times around Oxfordshire have increased massively with closed roads, unacceptable road maintenance and unwanted lower speed limits. But that's ok as long as they can appear to be green. Look at the state of the roads caused by poor repair works, poor planning and massively overweight electric buses. This issue highlighted caused gridlock around the Oxfordshire ring road and I'm not sure anyone I've spoken to actually saw anyone working on the roads at all! Absolute shambles! Let's hope voters actually turn out next time and get rid of these unqualified pretenders in power.
