Trees are growing out into the cycle path
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I first reported this in June last year. I got a notification today saying that it had been reported as no longer a problem. This is not correct. I cycled that route this morning and the trees had still not bee cut back. The worst part is where I dropped the pin but there are intermittent bushes overhanging the path all the way to the railway bridge at the eastern end of the straight section. The bushes are now starting to grow again. Unless they have been cut since 8am this morning then they are still a problem and this will only get worse as the bushes grow.

Bushes and trees are still overgrowing the shared cycle and pedestrian path forcing people into the road which is extremely dangerous.

Just cycled this today, getting whacked in the head by branches with trucks and buses passing very close by is no joke.

It's now a year since I first reported this as dangerous and still the trees continue to grow. This road is used by HGVs and buses, so being forced right onto the edge of the cycle path puts people far too close to traffic. Most drivers do not move out to make it safer as the fact that there is a kerb makes them think staying in their usual line is safe. This urgently needs cutting back right along the length of the straight section.
