Long large pothole near the middle of the road

Massive long pothole near middle of the road, last week 17/2/2026 I was waiting behind a highway vehicle where 2 men got out and looked at this pothole then got back in the van, the whole road is a nightmare like many in Didcot, went down this today and shook my car!

    I drove into this pothole last night and it blew my tyre. in the dark i did not see. i had to get a tyre person to come out and fix my tyre ans it was un drivable

    My vehicle struck a large and significant pothole(at lease 5cm deep and 2m length , which caused damage to my tyre and resulted in a slow puncture and air leaking, will be completely flat in an hour.

  • This pothole was first reported back in January, through February, It was checked out the file closed, yet it is still there today suggest that whoever checked this out goes to Specsavers’s.

  • This is an urgent concern regarding the issues previously reported. These are still present and, from what we can see, they do not appear to have been marked up by Highways. Given the potential risk these pose, this is a serious health and safety concern. It is unclear why there has been such a delay in attending and addressing the matter. Could you please confirm why this has not yet been marked up and advise when Highways will be attending to assess and take the necessary action? The current situation presents a potential hazard to the public, and we would appreciate this being treated as a priority.

  • This pothole is still there, first reported back in January, case closed, expected it to be repaired by now. There are quite a few areas now that need checking on the left as well as on the right in the middle.

  • I reported this crater in February when the workmen were looking at it, it is still there getting bigger and sprouting baby potholes around it, dangerous for bikers, dangerous for drivers, saw someone go down it today and finished up at the side of the road!
