Grass verge damaged

Delivery drivers have continually driven over the grass verge and caused rutting despite the fact the road is wide enough to park 4 wheels on the road. There are, or were, spring bulbs planted and they have been destroyed. Could wooded bollards be installed to stop this action as shown in one of the attached photos.
