The raised hump at Iffley turn is badly angled

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 21:31, Sunday 22 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Accidents have very nearly been caused on Henley Avenue because traffic coming into the village from Rose Hill has to completely stop on the main road if they are impeded by a large vehicle trying to exit the village. Traffic coming down Rose Hill cannot turn in sharply enough to keep on the left thanks to the design of the junction. We are forced to enter Iffley in the right hand lane. We have to wait on the main road if large vehicles are attempting to go out of the village. This is asking for a rear shunt accident to happen.

Please remove this ramp which is the antithesis of road safety.
