Cycle lane markings almost disappeared

Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category by Tony Brett at 17:03, Friday 20 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The markings on the path from Little Clarendon Street to Wellington Square for cycles have almost completely disappeared. The City Council fixed this for me in 2013 when I was a councillor but it really needs doing again. https://tonybrett.mycouncillor.org.uk/ 2013/ 11/ 23/ pretty-impressive-work-by-city-council-streetscene-team/

It's important because people are cycling faster these days so the danger of conflict with pedestrians larger. It really needs marking properly both at the Little Clarendon Street end (the block paving) and at the Wellington Square end. It's a pedestrian-heavy space as it's right outside a large office block.
