Unsafe road surface

The whole stretch of road in this vicinity is structurally unsound. It is unsafe to cycle on, with many holes, cracks and fissures. Cyclists have to take abounding action putting them on the wrong carriageway and having to deal with vehicles. It has been getting worse for years and does not meet OCC’s stated aim of maintaining roads as they are. It is dangerous and unsafe for two wheeled road users particularly coming down into Taynton. Requires structural patching at least but really full resurfacing for several hundred meters.
