Recent works carried out within the last 18 months to lay services (fibre) down Ashfield Road on the left side of the road towards the junction Ashfield Road/Black Bourton Road has had multiple failures since completion. The latest of which has now appeared level with Number 13 Ashfield Road, is appx 600mm in length and 400mm in width and 300 mm in depth. It is in line with the original cut. And growing...
Ashfield Road is used as a 'Rabbit Run' by traffic to avoid the town centre cross road traffic lights when busy and with increasing traffic to/from the new build houses in Milestone Road. The Pothole is in the line taken by motorbikes or the nearside wheels of cars/trucks traveling down Ashfield Road away from the Black Bourton Junction.
