Dear Sir/Madam, Re: Highways Act 1980 – Enquiry Reference ENQ251060603 Location: Spriggs Holly Lane I write further to the above enquiry reference concerning the condition and status of the highway at Spriggs Holly Lane. This correspondence is made pursuant to the Highways Act 1980. I am formally requesting that the Council, as the Highway Authority, confirm: Whether Spriggs Holly Lane is an adopted highway maintainable at public expense; The extent of the highway boundary at this location; and What inspection, maintenance, or remedial works are scheduled or have recently been undertaken in respect of this stretch of road. If the highway is maintainable at public expense, I request that the Council confirm what action it proposes to take to remedy the current condition of the road, which presents concerns regarding safety and accessibility. If it is not adopted, please confirm the recorded status of the road and provide details of the responsible party. I would be grateful for a written response within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with your statutory duties under the Highways Act 1980. Dear Highways Department, I am writing to formally complain about a section of road that I have now reported on four separate occasions. Despite these repeated reports, the condition of the road has continued to deteriorate and has now become extremely dangerous. The potholes in this area are so severe that it is no longer possible to drive through the section safely. While attempting to pass through, my vehicle suffered a blown tyre and my front spoiler was damaged due to the depth of the potholes. This situation is completely unacceptable and presents a serious hazard to all motorists using this road. The road surface is now in such poor condition that it poses a clear and immediate safety risk. It is deeply concerning that after multiple reports, no effective action appears to have been taken to resolve what is clearly a dangerous defect in the carriageway. Highways authorities have a duty to maintain the road network in a safe condition for the public. Allowing a road to deteriorate to this extent falls well below what motorists should reasonably expect. I ask that this matter is treated with urgency and that the road is inspected and repaired without further delay. I would also appreciate confirmation that this complaint has been logged and information on what action will now be taken to resolve the issue

You came out on weekend and filled some pot hole , not to top and on one side only fot 10 yards, what a waste of money . cant you do job correctly . this has been running for over 3 years but you never you never do good job please fix
