Danger of death to cyclists due to obstruction in cycle way

Cars constantly queue in the cycle way. They do it because they are lazy- there is room enough for them to queue in the main part of the road and let oncoming traffic pass. It is impossible to cycle along the cycle path. This situation forces cyclists to cycle down the middle of the road into incoming traffic. This is bad in the light but lethal in the dark of the winter months where our small bike lights are lost in the sea of car lights. I honestly think I am going to get killed cycling home on this road. There needs to be a proper segregated cycle path going from the flyover all the way to the traffic lights. There is room enough.
